The Design & Cut Order Process

1. Enquiry - We receive an enquiry requesting a quote, hopefully we will have been given an idea of sizes of stickers/labels required, along with quantity and what the stickers are intended for so that we can provide a quote on the correct media.
2. Quote - During office hours we will try to respond within 2 - 4 hours.  Emails are also checked outside office hours, so don't be surprised to receive a fast response any time! sometimes we may need to request further information from you before quoting, but rest assured we will get that quote to you asap.
3. Deposit - Once a price has been agreed and you decide to proceed with an order, we send an invoice for the full amount.  At this stage we require payment of 50% of the invoice prior to work commencing.  The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of the stickers.  The reason we ask for a deposit is that if you change your mind and printing has started, we cannot recycle the media, inks and consumables already used.  Not to mention the time that we will have spent on your order.
4. Artwork - As soon as we receive the deposit we will undertake any artwork that needs doing; whether it is a full design, tweaking an existing design or making a file suitable for printing.  If you are supplying the artwork to us we work we would prefer to have a Coreldraw or Illustrator file, with text saved as curves.  We will email artwork to you for approval at suitable times, at this time we will just be concentrating on design.  when you are happy with the design we will produce a print sample (time permitting).
5. Print Sample - We like to send a sticker/label sample to all customers.  We use the same equipment, media and inks to produce the sample as will be used on the final product.  When you receive your sample please check that you are happy with all aspects of it.  The majority of the time we have hit the nail on the head and we get the go ahead to proceed with the entire run.  But please let us know if anything needs tweaking and we will send another sample.  We want you to be happy with your purchase.
6. Sample Approved, Printing/Cutting Commences - following approval of the sample your stickers or labels get added to the print queue.  We will next be in touch when your stickers are complete.  Depending on the size of the order we generally say your stickers will be ready in 5 days, but will probably have advised you more accurately when providing the quote.
7. Delivery - If you are in the local area we tend to deliver stickers ourselves, of course you are also welcome to collect them.  We can deliver throughout the whole of Cornwall but depending on the distance from us we may charge a nominal delivery fee.  If you are based anywhere else we will use a post service to get your stickers and labels to you. 

 

If you need your stickers in a hurry we can often move jobs around to accomodate urgent work.  This is made even simpler if you are able to provide the artwork as a coreldraw or illustrator file with text converted to curves.  The timeframe can be shortened even further by skipping the print sample, although we do prefer and will try whenever possible to still include this.
